Trying Trivia and Wonderful Word Game Sites
I find the English language great fun for word plays and I love playing trivia when I have the time! The Microsoft Network has some great trivia areas!
My favorite author on the subject of the English language and its possibilities is Richard Lederer, his website is as fun as his books. His books are full of wordplays, little guizzes and other fun stuff, well worth the investment!
As a foreigner, I frequently have to wonder if I spell words correctly. The following poem always helps me remember that there really is no easy way:

Each frays come posed up on my screen Eye trussed too bee a joule The checker pour o'er every word To cheque sum spelling rule. Now spelling does know phase me. it does know bring a tier. My pay purrs awl due glad den With wrapped words fare as hear. To rite with care is quite a feet Of witch won should be proud. And wee mussed dew the best wee can Sew flaws are knot aloud. Sow ewe can sea why aye dew prays Such soft ware four pea seas, And why I brake in two averse By righting want too pleas. |
